He married Fidelia Luce 1863 in Wooster City, Wayne Co., OH.⁽⁶²⁰⁾ Fidelia was born Abt 1843.⁽⁶²¹⁾ Fidelia was the daughter of Eli Luce and Amanda Rogers. Fidelia died after 1911 at age unknown.

Joseph Daniels and Fidelia Luce had the following children:

2 i. Charles W.² Daniels was born abt 1864.⁽⁶²²⁾

3 ii. William E. Daniels was born abt 1866.⁽⁶²³⁾

4 iii. Eli B. Daniels was born abt 1868.⁽⁶²⁴⁾

5 iv. Arthur Daniels was born abt 1870.⁽⁶²⁵⁾ Arthur died about 1871 at age unknown.

6 v. Victor G. Daniels was born abt 1872.⁽⁶²⁶⁾

7 vi. John C. Daniels was born abt 1874.⁽⁶²⁷⁾
