He married Susannah George 1 Oct 1648 in Watertown, Middlesex Co., MA, MA.⁽¹¹²⁰⁾ Susannah was born abt 1631 in England.⁽¹¹²¹⁾ Susannah was the daughter of John George and Anna Goldstone. Susannah died 6 Jul 1694 in Watertown, Middlesex Co., MA, MA, at age 63.⁽¹¹²²⁾ Her body was interred Jul 1694 in Watertown, Middlesex Co., MA, MA.⁽¹¹²³⁾

He was baptized 1 Oct 1616 Southwold, Co. Suffolk, ENG.⁽¹¹²⁴⁾ Robert immigrated to Watertown, MA 10 Apr 1634.⁽¹¹²⁵⁾ "Robert and the family of Deacon [Thomas] Hastings [perhaps a kinsman], embarked in the ship ELIZABETH, William Andrews, Master...with many other Suffolk families. Also, we know that Watertown was settled by pioneers nearly all of whom came from Suffolk and Essex counties in England."

4 i. Susannah⁴ Harrington was born in Watertown, Middlesex Co., MA, MA 18 AUG 1649. She married three times. She married Peter Cloyes date unknown in Petersham, MA. Peter was born 27 May 1640 in Watertown, Middlesex Co., MA, MA. Peter⁽¹¹²⁶⁾ was the son of John Cloyes and Abigail (mnu) Cloyes. She married John Cutting 9 Feb 1671 in Watertown, Middlesex Co., MA, MA.⁽¹¹²⁷⁾ John died 18 Jul 1689 in Watertown, Middlesex Co., MA, MA, at age unknown. She married Eliezer Beeres 21 Apr 1690 in Watertown, Middlesex Co., MA, MA.⁽¹¹²⁸⁾ Eliezer died 5 Dec 1691 in Watertown, Middlesex Co., MA, MA, at age unknown.

+ 5 ii. John Harrington was born 24 AUG 1651.

6 iii. Robert Harrington, Jr. was born in Watertown, Middlesex Co., MA, MA 31 Aug 1653. died young

+ 7 iv. George Harrington was born 24 Nov 1655.

+ 8 v. Daniel Harrington was born 1 Nov 1657.

9 vi. Joseph Harrington was born in Watertown, Middlesex Co., MA, MA 28 Dec 1659. Joseph died 3 Dec 1690 at age 30. He married Joanna Mixer 7 Nov 1688.

+ 10 vii. Benjamin Harrington was born 26 Nov 1661.

11 viii. Mary Harrington was born in Watertown, Middlesex Co., MA, MA 12 Jan 1663/4. Mary died 8 Sep 1716 in Watertown, Middlesex Co., MA, MA, at age 52. She married John Bemis ca 1680 in Watertown, Middlesex Co., MA, MA. John was born Aug 1659 in Watertown, Middlesex Co., MA, MA.⁽¹¹²⁹⁾ John was the son of Joseph Bemis and Sarah (mnu) Bemis. + 12 ix. Thomas Harrington was born 20 Apr 1665.

+ 13 x. Samuel Harrington was born 18 Dec 1666.

+ 14 xi. Edward Harrington was born 2 Mar 1668.

15 xii. Sarah Harrington was born in Watertown, Middlesex Co., MA, MA 10 May 1670. Sarah died 28 Nov 1710 at age 40. 16 xiii. David Harrington was born in Watertown, Middlesex Co., MA, MA 1 Jun 1673. David died 11 Mar 1675 in Watertown, Middlesex Co., MA, MA, at age 1.
