10. Edgar Joseph³ Bleil (Frederick William², John M.¹) was born in Marion, Marion Co., OH 9 Dec 1860. Edgar died 4 Oct 1951 in Kansas City, Jackson Co., MO, at age 90.

He married Lottie Mae Mills 9 Dec 1884 in Clinton, Henry Co., MO. Lottie was born 3 Apr 1862 in Pittsfield, Pike, IL.⁽²³¹⁾ Lottie was the daughter of Daniel Luther Mills and Sarah Jane Bradshaw. Lottie died 28 Dec 1954 in Kansas City, Jackson Co., MO, at age 92. When Edgar Joseph Bleil married Lottie May Mills, they intended to live with his folks until they could get a place of their own. After several months, they rented different farms in the neighborhood, where Nina, Blanche and Bertha were born. They then moved to a small farm with a four room white frame house where Stella was born. About two years later, they bought a 160 acre farm a mile and a quarter east of the little town of Urichm Missouri. It had a log house on it, with a lean-to kitchen built on the back that was large enough for the dining table. After several years in the log cabin, Lottie May's father, Daniel Mills built a new four-room house and tore the log house down. Edgar and a friend cut down large oak trees in the woods, making large, long logs, which they tied on the wagon frame and took to town to have the mill make lumber for the house. The windows were of small panes. Stella Bleil Howery has many happy memories of that farm and says she cried when she found out her parents had sold the farm and were moving to Kansas City [about 1900.⁽²³²⁾

Edgar Joseph Bleil and Lottie Mae Mills had the following children:

15 i. Nina Aurelia⁴ Bleil was born in Shawnee Mound, Henry Co., MO 1 Dec 1885.⁽²³³⁾ She married Earl Rogers abt 1906.⁽²³⁴⁾ Earl was born about 1883. (See Earl Rogers for the continuation of this line.)

16 ii. Blanche Lorena Bleil was born in Shawnee Mound, Henry Co., MO 29 Sep 1887.⁽²³⁵⁾ Blanche died 2 Mar 1988 in Grain Valley, Jackson Co., MO, at age 100.⁽²³⁶⁾ She married Harvey Sandy 20 Dec 1909 in Kansas City, Jackson Co., MO.⁽²³⁷⁾ Harvey was born abt 1885.⁽²³⁸⁾ Harvey died 1936 at age 51. 17 iii. Bertha Maud Bleil was born in Shawnee Mound, Henry Co., MO 24 Oct 1889.⁽²³⁹⁾

18 iv. Estella Kate Bleil (still alive).

20 vi. Bernice Barry Bleil was born in Kansas City, Jackson Co., MO 17 Mar 1903.⁽²⁴⁰⁾

21 vii. Edgar Raymond Bleil was born in Kansas City, Jackson Co., MO 31 Jan 1906.⁽²⁴¹⁾
