He married Elizabeth Reade 2 Jul 1713.⁽⁵⁾ Elizabeth was born circa 1690. Elizabeth was the daughter of Philip Reade, M.D and Abigail Rice. Elizabeth died 17 May 1764 at age 73.

Samuel Adams and Elizabeth Reade had the following children:

2 i. Elizabeth² Adams was born 5 Sep 1715. Elizabeth died 1810 at age 94. She married Thomas Barber 8 Dec 1737. Thomas was born 1716. Thomas was the son of Samuel Barber. Thomas died 1792 at age 76.

3 ii. Jacob Adams was born 20 Jan 1717. Jacob died 6 Mar 1737 at age 20.

4 iii. Samuel Adams was born 13 Jul 1720.

5 iv. Abigail Adams was born 15 Jul 1727. Abigail died before 1760 at age unknown.
