Velma died 3 Sep 1974 in Kiokuk, IA, at age 55. She married Joel Elliott Marshall 2 Dec 1937 in
Tampa, FL. Joel was born 22 Jan 1910 Farmington, IA.(964) Joel was the son of Stephen Gilbert Marshall and Carolina Mary Whitlock.
Joel died 26 Nov 1988 in Kansas City, Jackson Co., MO, at age 78. (See Joel Elliott Marshall
