2. Joseph² Powers (Thomas¹) was born 1 Dec 1692. Joseph died aft 1731 at age unknown.

He married Hannah Whitcomb 16 Mar 1713 in Groton, MA.⁽¹⁷⁰⁴⁾ Hannah was born about 1696. Hannah was the daughter of Jonathan Whitcomb, Jr.. Hannah died probably in Boxboro, Middlesex Co., MA, at age unknown.

Joseph Powers and Hannah Whitcomb had the following child:

3 i. Hannah³ Powers was born 6 Jan 1730/1731. She married twice. She married Robert Chaffin 1748 probably in Littleton, Middlesex Co., MA.⁽¹⁷⁰⁵⁾ Robert was born 20 Dec 1724 in Littleton, Middlesex Co., MA.⁽¹⁷⁰⁶⁾ Robert was the son of Robert Chaffin and Abigail Davis. Robert died 13 Mar 1775 in Acton, Middlesex Co., MA, at age 50.⁽¹⁷⁰⁷⁾ (See Robert Chaffin for the continuation of this line.) She married Shippia (Sheppie) Townsend 1 Nov 1791 in Acton, Middlesex Co., MA.⁽¹⁷⁰⁸⁾
