Obediah Luce and Mercy Chaffin had the following children:

2 i. Hepsy² Luce⁽¹³⁸¹⁾ was born in Union, Lincoln Co., ME 24 May 1805.⁽¹³⁸²⁾ She married Eli Baldwin 1829 prob OH. Eli was born ca 1803.⁽¹³⁸³⁾ (See Eli Baldwin for the continuation of this line.)

+ 3 ii. Freeman Luce was born 29 Dec 1807.

4 iii. Whitman Luce was born in Union, Lincoln Co., ME 13 Jun 1809.⁽¹³⁸⁴⁾

5 iv. A Son Luce was born abt 1811.⁽¹³⁸⁵⁾ A died 1811 at age unknown.

+ 6 v. Harman Luce was born Jan 1813.

+ 7 vi. Curtis Ransler Luce was born 11 Oct 1815.

+ 8 vii. Eli Luce was born 17 Dec 1817.

+ 9 viii. Doctor Seth Luce was born 23 Aug 1824.
