28. Mordecai³ Lincoln (Mordecai², Samuel¹) was born 24 Apr 1686. Mordecai died 12 May 1736 at age 50.

He married twice. He married Hannah Saltar Bef 1714.⁽¹³⁷⁴⁾ [Mordecai was] a married man, Sept. 14, 1714, on which date John Bowne, uncle of Mordecai's wife, Hannah Saltar, calls her in his will, Hannah Lincon.⁽¹³⁷⁵⁾ Hannah is the daughter of Richard Saltar and Hannah Bowne.

He married Mary (Robeson?) mnu probably summer, 1729.

Mordecai Lincoln and Hannah Saltar had the following children:

31 i. John⁴ Lincoln was born 3 May 1716.

32 ii. Deborah Lincoln was born Jan 1717. Deborah died 15 May 1720 at age 3.

33 iii. Hannah Lincoln was born about 1719. Hannah died before 1769 at age unknown.

34 iv. Mary Lincoln was born about 1721. Mary died after 1769 at age unknown.

35 v. Anne Lincoln was born 8 Mar 1725. Anne died about 22 Dec 1812 at age 87.

36 vi. Sarah Lincoln was born probably in Freehold, NJ abt Apr 1727.⁽¹³⁷⁶⁾ Sarah died 21 Apr 1810 in Exeter, Berks Co., PA, at age 83.⁽¹³⁷⁷⁾ She married William Boone 6 May 1748 in Exeter, Berks Co., PA.⁽¹³⁷⁸⁾ William was born 29 Nov 1724 in Oley, Berks, PA.⁽¹³⁷⁹⁾ William was the son of George Boone, IV and Deborah Howell. William died before 1771 in Frederick Co, MD, at age unknown. (See William Boone for the continuation of this line.)

Mordecai Lincoln and Mary (Robeson?) mnu had the following children:

37 vii. Mordecai Lincoln was born 9 May 1730.

38 viii. Thomas Lincoln was born about 1732.

39 ix. Abraham Lincoln was born posthumously 18 Oct 1736.
