3. John³ Miller (Samuel², Daniel¹) was born in Fayette or Ross Co., OH 18 Sep 1836.⁽¹⁵⁰¹⁾ John died 25 Nov 1880 in prob Bates Co., MO, at age 44.⁽¹⁵⁰²⁾

He married Adeline Orr 21 Jun 1857 in Washington, Fayette Co., OH.⁽¹⁵⁰³⁾ Adeline was born 13 Mar 1839 in KY. Adeline was the daughter of James Orr and Priscilla A. VanTreese. Adeline died 5 Apr 1905 at age 66. Adeline was a member of church unknown est 1850. Adeline Orr united with the Methodist church in early life and remained in the faith until death.⁽¹⁵⁰⁴⁾

John Miller and Adeline Orr had the following children:

Sarah Jane⁴ Miller was born in Fayette Co., OH 14 Apr 1858.⁽¹⁵⁰⁵⁾ Sarah died 17 Jan 1944 in Kansas City, Jackson Co., MO, at age 85.⁽¹⁵⁰⁶⁾ She married Daniel Wesley McMurray 17 Feb 1877 in Altona, Bates Co., MO.⁽¹⁵⁰⁷⁾ Daniel was born 27 May 1856 in IL.⁽¹⁵⁰⁸⁾ Daniel was the son of Alexander McMurray and Mary Cox. Daniel died 6 Jun 1935 in Kansas City, Jackson Co., MO, at age 79.⁽¹⁵⁰⁹⁾ (See Daniel Wesley McMurray for the continuation of this line.)

12 ii. Laura Belle Miller was born near Monticello, Piatt Co., IL 8 Apr 1860.⁽¹⁵¹⁰⁾ Laura died 17 May 1883 at age 23.⁽¹⁵¹¹⁾ She married Will Miller est 1880.⁽¹⁵¹²⁾

13 iii. Mary Magdaline Miller was born in Washington, Fayette Co., OH 10 Jan 1862.⁽¹⁵¹³⁾ Mary died 15 Nov 1902 at age 40. She married Will Matthews date unknown.⁽¹⁵¹⁴⁾

14 iv. John Wesley Miller was born in IL 7 Mar 1864.⁽¹⁵¹⁵⁾ John died 3 Dec 1868 at age 4.⁽¹⁵¹⁶⁾

15 v. William Oscar Miller was born in IL 18 Mar 1866.⁽¹⁵¹⁷⁾ William died 20 Apr 1892 at age 26.⁽¹⁵¹⁸⁾ He married Fanny Strange est 1888.⁽¹⁵¹⁹⁾

16 vi. George Henry Miller was born in Edgar Co., IL 17 Jun 1868.⁽¹⁵²⁰⁾ George died 13 Aug 1932 in Grinnell, Gove Co., KS, at age 64.⁽¹⁵²¹⁾ His body was interred Aug 1932 in Grinnell, Gove Co., KS.⁽¹⁵²²⁾ He married Edith Strange est 1890.⁽¹⁵²³⁾

17 vii. Susan Miller was born near Golden City, Dade Co., MO 2 Oct 1870.⁽¹⁵²⁴⁾ Susan died 11 Jun 1917 in Fort Scott, Bourbon Co., KS, at age 46.⁽¹⁵²⁵⁾ She married Dan Pippenger est 1890.⁽¹⁵²⁶⁾

18 viii. Adeline (Addie) Miller was born near Golden City, Dade Co., MO 26 Jul 1873.⁽¹⁵²⁷⁾ She married Tabor Berry est 1893.⁽¹⁵²⁸⁾

19 ix. Ella Josephine Miller was born near Altona, Bates Co., MO 9 Feb 1876.⁽¹⁵²⁹⁾ Ella died 22 Apr 1921 at age 45.⁽¹⁵³⁰⁾ She married twice. She married Bert Hedrick est 1896.⁽¹⁵³¹⁾ She married Bob Taylor aft 1896.⁽¹⁵³²⁾

20 x. Samuel Moses Miller was born near Altona, Bates Co., MO 18 May 1880.⁽¹⁵³³⁾ He married Bell Cook est 1902.⁽¹⁵³⁴⁾
