He married Sarah Jane Miller 17 Feb 1877 in Altona, Bates Co., MO.⁽¹⁴⁷⁸⁾ Sarah was born 14 Apr 1858 in Fayette Co., OH.⁽¹⁴⁷⁹⁾ Sarah was the daughter of John Miller and Adeline Orr. Sarah died 17 Jan 1944 in Kansas City, Jackson Co., MO, at age 85.⁽¹⁴⁸⁰⁾

Daniel Wesley McMurray and Sarah Jane Miller had the following children:

Emma Etta⁴ McMurray was born near Altona, Bates Co., MO 18 Aug 1877.⁽¹⁴⁸¹⁾ Emma died 19 May 1958 in Los Angeles, Los Angeles Co., CA, at age 80.⁽¹⁴⁸²⁾ She married Oliver Rufus Atwell 20 Dec 1894 in Rich Hill, Bates Co., MO.⁽¹⁴⁸³⁾ Oliver was born 22 Mar 1869 in Newton, Jasper Co., IA.⁽¹⁴⁸⁴⁾ Oliver⁽¹⁴⁸⁵⁾ was the son of Benjamin Abbott Atwell and Mary Ann White. Oliver died 23 Jun 1946 in Independence, Jackson Co., MO, at age 77.⁽¹⁴⁸⁶⁾ His body was interred aft 23 Jun 1946 in Lafayette, Tippecanoe Co., IN.⁽¹⁴⁸⁷⁾ Oliver was employed at organization unknown as a RR Construction ca 1900. Oliver was divorced from Emma Etta McMurray circa 1911 in Kansas City, Jackson Co., MO. (See Oliver Rufus Atwell for the continuation of this line.)

26 ii. Dema Lue McMurray was born near Altona, Bates Co., MO 31 Mar 1881.⁽¹⁴⁸⁸⁾ She married Harry Williams 25 Dec 1898.⁽¹⁴⁸⁹⁾

27 iii. Maude Belle McMurray was born in Kansas City, Jackson Co., MO May 1885.⁽¹⁴⁹⁰⁾ Maude died 24 Jul 1930 at age 45. She married Edward D. Kingman 6 Jan 1906.⁽¹⁴⁹¹⁾ Edward was divorced from Maude Belle McMurray 29 Sep 1921.⁽¹⁴⁹²⁾
