12. Walter³ Neal (Daniel² Neal or O'Neal, John¹ Neale)⁽¹⁶³¹⁾ was born in Bedford Co., VA 17 Nov 1752.⁽¹⁶³²⁾ Walter died bef 20 Oct 1801 near Zenith, Monroe Co., WV, at age 48.⁽¹⁶³³⁾ His body was interred bef 20 Oct 1801 near Zenith, Monroe Co., WV.⁽¹⁶³⁴⁾

He married Winifred Wood ca 1775 in Bedford Co., VA. Winifred was born ca 1754. Winifred⁽¹⁶³⁵⁾ was the daughter of John Wood and Agnes (mnu) Wood. Winifred died 1857 in OH, at age 103.

Walter had his will probated 20 Oct 1801 Monroe Co., VA.⁽¹⁶³⁶⁾ Will Bk. I, p. 20 gives the Adm. of estate of Walter Neal. The court gives permission for Winifred Neal, his widow, and James Christy to administer his estate.

Walter Neal and Winifred Wood had the following children:

21 iii. Zachariah Neal⁽¹⁶³⁸⁾ was born in Bedford Co., VA ca 1778. He married Anna Neal 29 Aug 1796 in Bedford Co., VA. Anna was born ca 1778 in Bedford Co., VA. Anna⁽¹⁶³⁹⁾ was the daughter of Zachariah Neal and Mary (mnu) Neal. Anna died aft 1806 in Bedford Co., VA, at age unknown.

22 iv. Emelia Neal was born in Bedford Co., VA ca 1779. Emelia died ca 1851 Monroe Co., VA, at age unknown. Her body was interred ca 1851 near Zenith, Monroe Co., WV. She married William Neel 5 Aug 1793 in Bedford Co., VA. William was born ca 1776. (Additional notes for William Neel⁽¹⁶⁴⁰⁾) William died ca 1844 Monroe Co., VA, at age unknown. His body was interred ca 1844 near Zenith, Monroe Co., WV.

23 v. Charles Neal was born in Bedford Co., VA 18 May 1781. Charles died 1 Oct 1876 in Gallia Co, OH, at age 95. He married twice. He married Martha Arnot 18 Feb 1802 Monroe Co., Va. Martha was born 31 Mar 1785. Martha⁽¹⁶⁴¹⁾ was the daughter of Henry Arnot and Elizabeth Truesdale. Martha died 1841 at age 56. He married Sarah (mnu) Pritchard 2 May 1842 in Gallia Co, OH. Sarah was born 9 Jun 1807. (Additional notes for Sarah (mnu) Pritchard⁽¹⁶⁴²⁾) Sarah died 2 Feb 1888 in Gallia Co, OH, at age 80.

24 vi. Delilah Neal was born in Bedford Co., VA ca 1782. Delilah died Nov 1850 in Aid twp, Lawrence Co., OH, at age 68. She married John Hall, Jr. 15 Mar 1799 in Greenbrier Co., VA. John was born ca 1776. John⁽¹⁶⁴³⁾ was the son of John Hall and Isabel (mnu) Hall. John died Mar 1846 in Aid twp, Lawrence Co., OH, at age 69.

25 vii. Rachel Neal⁽¹⁶⁴⁴⁾ was born in Bedford Co., VA 8 Feb 1784. Rachel died 10 Sep 1852 in Gallia Co, OH, at age 68. Her body was interred aft 10 Sep 1852 in Gallia Co, OH. She married Thomas Wray 26 Sep 1802 Monroe Co., VA. Thomas was born 15 Dec 1776 in VA. (Additional notes for Thomas Wray⁽¹⁶⁴⁵⁾) Thomas died 17 Oct 1843 in Gallia Co, OH, at age 66. His body was interred aft 17 Oct 1843 in Gallia Co, OH. Thomas immigrated to Lawrence Co., OH 1826.

Rachel was the spouse of Thomas Wray when he immigrated to Lawrence Co., OH 1826.

26 viii. Daniel Neal⁽¹⁶⁴⁶⁾ was born in Bedford Co., VA ca 1785. Daniel died ca 1864 in Aid twp, Lawrence Co., OH, at age unknown. His body was interred ca 1864 in OH. 27 ix. Walter Neal, Jr.⁽¹⁶⁴⁸⁾ was born in Bedford Co., VA 16 Nov 1786. Walter died 23 Feb 1873 in Gallia Co, OH, at age 86. His body was interred aft 23 Feb 1873 in Harrison Twp., Gallia Co., OH. He married twice. He married Deborah Arnot 10 Apr 1804 Monroe Co., VA. Deborah was born 24 May 1787. Deborah⁽¹⁶⁴⁹⁾ was the daughter of Henry Arnot and Elizabeth Truesdale. Deborah died 7 Dec 1843 in Gallia Co, OH, at age 56. Her body was interred aft 7 Dec 1843 in Gallia Co, OH. He married Elizabeth Landthorn 17 Mar 1844 in Gallia Co, OH. Elizabeth was born Sep 1812. Elizabeth⁽¹⁶⁵⁰⁾ was the daughter of Fred Griffith and Ruth Osborn. Elizabeth died 22 Feb 1898 in Gallia Co, OH, at age 85.

28 x. Mary (Polly) Neal was born in Bedford Co., VA 28 Nov 1787. Mary died 4 Mar 1865 Symmes Twp, Lawrence Co., OH, at age 77. Her body was interred aft 4 Mar 1865 in Lawrence Co., OH. She married William Burke 11 Nov 1806 Monroe Co., VA. William was the son of John Burke and Catherine Wood. (See William Burke for the continuation of this line.)

29 xi. Agnes Neal was born in Bedford Co., VA 12 Aug 1792. She married John Wiseman 24 Dec 1818 Monroe Co., VA. John was born 12 Mar 1791. John⁽¹⁶⁵¹⁾ was the son of Isaac Wiseman and Mary M. Armintrout. John died 19 Aug 1844 in Gallia Co, OH, at age 53. His body was interred aft 19 Aug 1844 in Gallia Co, OH. John immigrated to Gallia Co., OH 1830.

Agnes was the spouse of John Wiseman when he immigrated to Gallia Co., OH 1830.
