1. William¹ Smoot was born abt 1597. William died 1670 at age 73.

He married Grace Wood date unknown.

William Smoot and Grace Wood had the following child:

2 i. Ann² Smoot was born 1640. Ann died 1662 at age 22. She married Capt. William Barton 1658. Capt. was born 1634. Capt. was the son of William Barton. Capt. died 1717 at age 83. (See Capt. William Barton for the continuation of this line.)
