Joseph Weaver and Magdalene Webber had the following child:

Lear² Weaver was born in Switzerland 20 Jan 1847.⁽¹⁹⁷³⁾ Lear died 22 Jan 1883 in Macoupin Co., IL, at age 36.⁽¹⁹⁷⁴⁾ Her body was interred aft 22 Jan 1883 in Girard City Cemetery Girard, Macoupin County, IL.⁽¹⁹⁷⁵⁾ She married Hiram W. Chaffin 28 Sep 1865 in Wayne Co., OH.⁽¹⁹⁷⁶⁾ Hiram was born 15 Apr 1843.⁽¹⁹⁷⁷⁾ Hiram was the son of Simon Chaffin, Jr. and Catharine Maurer. (See Hiram W. Chaffin for the continuation of this line.)

Lear was a member of the Methodist Episcopal from abt 1865 until her death.⁽¹⁹⁷⁸⁾
