Descendants of Conrod Goehring/Gahring

Conrod* and his children came to Venango County in northwestern Pennsylvania in 1844, a year after his younger brother, Christian Goehring/Ghering.  They settled in the Dempseytown area.

This is not my direct line.  Conrod was a brother to my immigrant ancestor, Christian Ghering.  Much of this information came from the unreferenced Ghering History originally compiled in 1945 by Mabel Ghering Granquist with updates by Howard Strawbridge and Dee LaBatt.  This is a good starting place, but I cannot guarantee that the information is correct.  If you would like to add information, I would love to have referenced information.
