Anyone involved with genealogical research will agree that at some point, tracing your ancestors moves from the realm of facts into the realm of myth and legend. Exactly where this transition takes place is always a matter of debate. Some will swear with their dying breath that they can accurately trace their lineage back to Adam and Eve. So it goes. My research in this area is far from thorough. But based on what I have read, I believe my lineage can be reliably traced to these individuals, who then become my gateways into myth and legend.
