Obituary:
Mrs. Ida A. Beck, wife of Ollie Beck, died at 11:45 o'clock Sunday night at her home a mile and quarter east of Thorntown, after a three weeks illness caused by dropsy. Deceased was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Darrough of this place, and was born July 1, 1868. On Feb. 5, 1891, she was united in marriage to O.D. Beck who with five children survive. The children are Ruby, Rossie, Mabel, Lewis and Dorval. One stepdaughter, Mrs. June Wilson of Danville, Ind., also survives. One brother, Charles D. and two sisters, Mrs. Lydia Booher and Mrs.Clara Dickson are left to mourn her loss. Deceased was a consistent member of the Presbyterian church. The funeral was conducted at 1:30 o'clock Tuesday afternoon from the Presbyterian church at Shannondale with service by J. B. Rutter of the Methodist church. The interment was at Shannondale.
