HUSBAND NOTES: Fort Covington Sun December 15, 1977 Mr. Mott Died at Age 54 Funeral services for Hershel John Mott, 54, of North Bangor, who was dead on arrival at the Alice Hyde Hospital, Thursday, were held Monday at the chapel of Flint Funeral Home, Brushton. He had been in ill health for some time. Born in Bangor, December 8, 1923 he was a son of John and Ida Dewey Mott and lived in North Bangor all of his life. He was a farmer. For the past nine years he had been employed by the Franklin County Highway Department. Married to the former Irene LaVare. She survives. He was a member of North Bangor United Methodist Church. Surviving besides his wife are seven daughters, Arlie of Croton-On_The_Hudson, Ida, Dorothy, Marjorie, Jan, Laurie and Linda all at home, two sons, Hershel Jr. and Robert both at home and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one sister, Mrs. Dorothy Simmons. The Rev.
