HUSBAND NOTES: Coal Hill Cemetery Westville, NY WILEY Otis WILEY 1869 - 1944 Cassie HOADLEY His Wife 1869 - 1917 ---------------------- Ft Covington Sun Thursday June 29, 1944 Otis S. Wiley, 75, a storekeeper at Cooks Corners, Fort Covington, expired suddenly from a heart attack on June 21st about 6:00 p.m. Mr. Wiley who was a native of North Bangor, spent his whole life in this section with exception of six years during which he resided in Springfield, Mass. He was a blacksmith and auto mechanic for many years, turning to the retail grocery business during the last twenty years. For a number of years prior to moving to Cooks Corners he conducted a store in Hogansburg. He was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Wiley. His first wife who died in 1917 was Cassie Hoadley. Twenty-five years ago he married the former Bernice Wilson who survives him. Besides his wife, he leaves three sons, Guy, Elvin and Raymond, all of Constable; a daughter, Mrs. Stella Bailey of Manchester, N.H., and three sisters, Mrs. Ellen Hoadley, and Mrs Frinda Hoadley, of Syracuse, and Mrs Ida Arnold of Fay. Funeral services were conducted Saturday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the Wesleyan Methodist Church at Cooks Corners, Rev Alton Seaman officiating. Burial was made in Coal Hill Cemetery.
