WIFE NOTES: 1900 Census gives year of birth as 1895. Malone Telegram June 7, 1940 Mrs. Kellogg 45, Dies After Long Illness The death of Cassie Howard Kellogg, 45, of North Bangor, occurred yesterday afternoon at 4 o'clock in an Ogdensgurg Hospital, where she had been a patient for about six weeks. She had been ill for a long time. Mrs Kellogg was born in the town of Fort Covington, daughter of Mrs. George Howard and the late Mr. Howard. She taught school for a number of years until her health began to fail and she was forced to relinquish her duties. She was affiliated with the Wesleyan Methodist Church of Cooks Corners. Surviving relatives are her mother, one sister, Mrs. Lester Morey, Brushton; and two brothers, Charles W. Howard, Malone; and Ernest J. Howard, Canton. Last rites will be held Sunday afternoon, June 9, at 2:30 (EST) at her late home, the Rev. Robert E. Wright, pastor of the Methodist Church of Bangor, officiating. Burial will be in Coal Hill Cemetery.
