SANDS - In Penn Yan, November 15, 1921, George Isaac Sands, aged 66 years.
His Death is said to have been caused by a crushed chest received at one of the mills on the outlet last January. He had not been well for some time. Mr. Sands was born August 12, 1855 in Milo, the son of Susie Covert and David Sands. On August 31, 1876, he married Amanda Hendrick, of Newfield, NY. He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Susie Gleason, of Waterloo, and Edna at home, and a brother and sister, William of Rochester, and Mrs. Emil Miller, of Pen Yan. The funeral was held Sunday, the Masonic order having charge of the services at the house and the Odd Fellows at the burial in Lake View. The Rev W. H. Wheatly offered prayer.
