After Divine servis (sic) a door open for the Reception
of Members.  Received sister Lucy Rogers by

Church met in conference after church service a
door opened for the reception of members, none
came.  Case 1st  Church Request to know her own

Aug Term 1828  Church come together for Business
Case 1st  Chose Brother West to set with prespatry (sic)
2nd  Brethren helps were called for from Salem
and enon and Spring Creek & Smith Fork  Brethren of
the prespatry (sic) A present Elder Jones, C. Bethel, Tresky, Sister
H. Pickett, M. West, Thomas Hooker, Brother Jones ____
Moderator.  Proceeded to examine Broth`s L. A. Duncan
and Brother John Walker.  The Presbatry (sic) think them worthy
of a dinonition (sic) proceed to give their credentials then
dismissed in order.

Saturday before the third Lords day in September 1828
After devine service the church met, a door Was Opened
for the reception of members, none came.  The letter then
prepared to send to the association was read and
received Sisters Susannah Austin and Rebecca S__mons
and Rhoda Sealy applied for lettes of dismission, they

Oct Term.  Church Records
Members, none came. the church proceeded to appoint a
Clerk, Brother Moses Allen agreed to take the place on
trial. Brother Coats applied for a letter of dismission
for Sister Melvina    granted. Brother Jessee Skeef
applied for a letter for himself and Wife. granted him.

Saturday before the third Lord's day in November 1828
After divine service the Church Met, a door Was
opened for the reception of members, received Brother
Edward Turner by letter. 2nd  Agreed that prayer meeting
should be held in the bounds of the Church, once
a week  3rd  That preaching shall commence at 11, OClock
on Saturday . 4th Sisters Dulany Harrison & Nancy Hunt
applied for letters and was granted.      Thos. Hooker, Mod.

December Term 1828.  After divine worship, Church met.
A door was opened for the reception of members. none
came. Brother Ashley applied for a letter of dismission
for Sister Elizabeth Morris. Granted her.

January Term 1829. After divine worship, Church came together
for Business a door was opened for the reception of members.
Received Brother Shadrach Duncan and Elizabeth his wife
by letter  Case 2nd  The case of the two Churches named by
Hogans Creek & Knot Spring that left the asssociation was
taken up. Whether we will commune with them in their
present standing. The Church say not commune with them.

February Term 1829  After divine worship the Church came
together for Business.  A door was opened for the reception of
members. none came. Brother Thomas Ashley applied for
letter of dismission for himself and Wife, granted

March Term, 1829   After divine service, Church came together for
Business.  1st  A door was opened for the reception of members. none came.
2nd  The Church lay it on Brother Parkhurst to call on those who has
not paid in their contribution for the last year for it for the defraying
of the Church expence (sic) then dismissed By Thomas Hooker, Moderator

April Term, 1829. After Divine service, church sat in conference.
Case 1st  Restored Sister Kepley  Case 2nd.  Brother Isaac Alison not
being present, his case was deferred til next meeting, then dismissed.

May Term, 1829.  Conference opened received Sister Jane Briant by letter.
2nd  Brother Isaac Allison applied for a letter of dismission by his
mother. It was granted him.  3rd   A request from our Sister Church at
Bethel for our ministerial help to ordain two deacons. We sent
our Brother Hooker to their assistance, then dismissed in order.

June Term 1829  After divine worship, church sat in conference a door
opened for the reception of members . none came, then dismissed
in order.

On Sunday, Sister Nancy Colley dismissed by letter.

July Term, 1829.  After Worship, Church sat in conference. Door was
opened for the reception of members. none came. then proceeded to
appoint Brethren Hooker, Parkhurst and Archibald Allen to
attend the Section Meeting , and Brother Parkhurst to prepare a
letter, then dismissed in order.  Brother Bethel chosen moderator.

August Term 1829.  After worship Church sat in conference a
door opened for the reception of members. none came.  The letter to
the yearly meeting read and received. Then proceeded to appoint mes-
sengers to the association. Brother Hooker, Parkhurst,and in case
of falure (sic) Brother Allen , to prepare a letter.

A query brought before the Church to Brother Hooker about

whether we shall receive a Member by letter that had been dis-
missed by the separates, refered til next conference.

September Term 1829  Church sat in conference, a door was
opened for the reception of Members. None came . The Question
from last Meeting taken up and withdrawn from the Church.
Sister Kepley applied for dismission by letter, granted her then dismissed in order.

October Term 1829  Church sat in conference Sister Gill  applied
for letters of dismission for herself and Mary Belshaw and
Elizabeth Gill, and Jane Parris. Mary Baird applied for a
letter of dismission then dismissed in order.

November Term 1829  Meeting disappointed on Sunday, Sisters
Elizabeth Hancock and Phebe Combs applied for letters
of dismission, granted them.

December Term 1829  Church sat in conference a door
opened for the reception, none came. Brother Hooker
appointed Moderator for the coming year, Moses Allen Clerk.
2nd The Church receive (sic) the Satisfaction that was given  The
Committee by Hogan's Creek & Hot Spring Churches.
3rd  request from Hickmans Creek Church for our ministerial
aid to assist them in becoming a constituted church. It was
granted them then dismissed in order.            Moses Allen, Clk.

January Term 1830  Church sat in conference opened the
door for the reception of members. Received Brother Wm Allen
by letter. Case 2d That Brethren Moses Allen and William
Allen inform the church at Hogan’s Creek that we are grieved.
With them for holding John Berry in fellowship one of our exclu-
ded members. Case 3rd Request from our sister church at Bethel for
ministerial aid to ordain deacon, granted them.   Moses Allen, Clerk.

February Term 1830 Church sat in conference, opened a door for the reception
of members. Received Black Betsy by experience and Baptism 1st Case
Sister Margaret Allen applied for a letter of dismission, granted. Sus Bro
Parkhurst applied for a letter for himself, and wife then dismissed in

March Term 1830  Church sat in conference, a door opened for the
reception of members, none came. Brother Allen reports that he attended
at Hogans, and handed them our letter, and that they __ _ot receive
the letter. the Church proceed (sic) to appoint a committee of Brethren
to visit them, Named as follows, Brethren, Dedman, A. Allen, Walker,
Denney, E. Turner, M. Allen and to report next meeting. Brother
Fry and wife dismissed by letter, Sister Mary Atwood dismissed by
letter.                                               Moses Allen, Clerk.

April Term   Church sat in conference. Opened the door for the
reception of members. Received Brother Zachariah Worley by
by (sic) letter. The Committee appointed to labor with the Church
at Hogans Creek, report that they have received satisfaction
from them . Then proceeded to appoint Brother Edward Turner
& Samuel Walker deacons for this church. Agreed that
help be called for from Salem by Brother Dedman Emons
and Spring Creek by Brother Archibald Allen - from
Round Lick by Brother Compton to Ordain our Deacons
on Saturday before the third Lords Day in July next.
Dismissed letter Susannah Davis by letter.       Mo Allen.

May term Church set in conference opened the
Dore (sic) for the reception of members, received Br
Wyatt Coleman by letter, that help shall be
called for from Hickman's Creek. Se__ho___e for
the purpose ordaining two Deacons as just two
next then dismissed in order.            Moses AllenClerk.

June Term  Church sat in conference Brethren
to tend the yearley (sic) meeting Hooker, _. Dedman
