invitation given for experience or letter, none came forward. after some
conversation about feet Washing, Dismissed.

July Term 1840 after Preaching on Saturday before the 3rd Lords day in July
the Church set in Conference a door open’d for the Reception of members, Frances
Bradly come forward and gave in experience and was rec'd, on sunday
Emily Fry came forward and Lucy an (sic) Rogers at the water and gave in
and was rec’d.  Frances Bradly and Emily Fry baptised so dismiss’d in order.

August Term 1840 the Church set in conference as usual, invitation given
for the reception of Members, none come forward. on sunday at the water
two come forward give and give in their experience and was rec'd and Lucy An
Rogers and Clary Denney was Baptised.
the Church opened a door for the Reception of Members at the Cross Roads
on Wednesday the __ of July, 1840  Frances Heflen give in her experience
was rec'd and baptized, the 5th sunday Elizabeth House was baptized and
Lucy a Black woman baptized and Leonard Taylor and his wife Sarah handed in their letters.

September Term 1840, after preaching the Church set in Conference
as usual, invition (sic) given for the reception of members, none came forward.
Motioned and seconded whether they send to Loranze Rogers to know
whether he had left us or not, the Church say send, nominated Brother
Leonard Taylor and Henry Fry to see him, and report next
Conference, so Dismist (sic) in order

October 1840 after preaching the Church sit in Conference as
usual, invitation was given for the reception of members, none came forward.
Brother Taylor and Fry reported Brother Rogers Case he said that
he had went with the Missionaries and we might take him off for
which the Church excluded him. 2nd. Brother Garrison made application
by the Mouth of Brother Hooker for to sing and pray in Publick (sic),
the Church say go forward. 3rd. the Church thought it necessary to have
Brother Taylor, Hooker and Brother Woodson ordained so proceeded
and send for helps, Bro. Wily Denney, to Bro More, Bro Jacob Fry,

to see Bro. M. West, sent a letter by Mr. Linsey to Brother Sion Bass.

 Being Brother Taylor expected to move away before the next Church
Meeting, the Church apointed (sic) a Meeting to do this business on Tuesday the 27th
of the month, the Church met acording (sic) to appointment Brother West  and Brot.
More came acording (sic) to request, Brother Bass faild (sic) to come, Brother West and Broth.
More proceeded to the Business, Examined into the Brethrens Ripeness, found
them fit for ordination, Laid their hands on them and ordered their credentials
so dismiss’d in order.                Miles West and Thomas More, Presbetary,

November Term 1840, the Church met as usual,  A door opend (sic)
for the reception of members. Nancy Meryman came
forward gave in her experience and received.  Mary Hooker made aplication (sic) for a letter of Dismission it was granted and likewise
Leonard Taylor and wife them was granted. so dismissed

December Term 1840, the Church met as usual after preaching
set in Conference invitation for reception of members, none came forward.

February Term 1841, The Church met as usual after preaching
the Church set in Conference invitation for reception of
members, none came forward. Brother Marks handed in a letter from
Round Lick Church requesting helps to assit them in a difficulty
on Saturday before the first Sunday in March, which was granted.

Brother James Briggs came forward and made Acknowledgement for
his misconduct, the Church forgave him. so dismiss’d.in order.

July Term 1841. The Church met as usual. Sat in conference. A Door
open’d for experience or letter none come forward, proceeded to business.
First Choose (sic) Mesingers (sic) to send to the association Brother Wm Barnet, Bro
John Hooker, Bro Daniel Smith in case of falure (sic) Bro Wilson Turner.
The Church agreed to send two Dollars to pay the expenses John Rogers to
talk with Br. James Kooksey to know the reason  he did not attend our
Church Meetings and report next conference  So dismiss’d in order

August Term 1841   The Church met usual set in Conference
and invitation given for the Reception of Members none came
forward, proceded (sic) to business Rogers Reported by Wilson Turner. The Case of James B. Cooksey it gave no it gave no satisfaction to the Church.
The Church say Exclude him. Harris Fuller's case laid over til
next conference. Brother Bass and Bro Wilson Turner go the
see him and report next meeting, so dismiss’d.

Door opened for the Reception of members Emeline Carter come
forward and gave in her experience and was rec'd, Bro Fullers
case laid over until next meeting, so dismissed in order.

October Term 1841   After preaching the Church set in conference a way
opened for the Reception of members. none come forward. Brother Fuller's case
taken up, and was excluded for the same. The report was he did not want to live
 2nd, a charge laid in by Brother Wilson Turner against Brother Abel Hunt and Ann Wilson
for Disorderly Conduct and referred until next Conference. Dismissed in order.
(and denying the same an antinomian any longer or had lived one long enough so excluded for that him and his wife for so saying)

 November Term 1841. After preaching the Church sit in con
ference a door opened for the Reception of members non (sic) come the
Reference Call’d, the Case of Brother Hunt and Sister Wilson taken up
and was referd (sic) until next Conference for lack of a witness.
Brother David Buckhannan made aplicatin (sic) for a letter of Dismission
for himself and wife. it was granted him  so dismiss’d in order.

December Term 1841.  the Church after preaching set in Conference
a door opened for the Recepion (sic) of members  none came forward 2nd
the Case of Brother Hunt and Sister Wilson proceeded to and talk’d
upon a length of time, and the Brethren could not come to a right
understanding with each other so referd (sic) until the next conference.

January Term 1842  after Preaching the Church set in conference as
usual a door opened for the reception of members none came forward then
the Reference of Brother Hunt and Sister Wilson proceeded to after
some questions being asked to and from it apear’d (sic) that no Satisfaction
could be had there was a motion  by H. Fry that the voice of the Church
be taken whether she could fellowship  Brother Hunt and Sister
Wilson in Such Conduct as was Charged against them or not, and
seconded by Bro. Daniel Smith the voice was taken. The Brothers
and sisters all that was there unfellowship them, but one Bro.
William Barnett.  So dismissed.

February Term 1842. The Church met as usual a sermon
preached by Brother Bradford set in Conference Brother Brad
ford serv’d as Moderator a way opened for the Reception
of members no Business in the Church so dismissed in order.

March Term 1842.  On Saturday before the third Lord's day in
March after preaching the Brethren set in Conference invitation
given for the reception of members none came forward no

 April Term  1842  the Church as usual after preaching  Set
in conference a way opened for Expereince or letter.  none Come forward
proceeded to Business  1st  the Clerk offered up the Church Book
the Church say keep it  2nd  Motioned and seconded whether they
should send Brethern to Sister Hunt whether she had joined the
Mormenites or not.  Brethern Henry Fry, John Powel, Jacob Fry
to talk with her and report next conference  Motioned and Seconded
whether they will wash feet to morrow or not after Communing.  the
the Church say wash feet, so dismiss’d in order

May Term  1842  the Church met as usual after Preaching  Set in
Conference  invitation given for the Recepion (sic) of members.  Sister Paris
made aplication (sic) by Brother Woodson that she wanted to be back
with the old baptist again.  the Church Recd her  2nd  Motion’d and
Seconded whether the Church could Receive Sister Hager for the
Relation.  She gave in at Brother Woodsons on Saturday Night
before the fourth Sunday in April,  The Church Submited to what
was done. 3rd  the Brethern reported Sister Hunts Case for
Joining what is Call’d the Mormans.  She said she had join’d
them and she would not think hard if we Excluded her.  the
voice of the Church taken.  the Church say Exclude her so Dismiss’d

forward Josiah Garrison askd leave of the Moderator for some
private Conversation with some of the Brethern  Brother Daniel
Smith Brother John Powell Brother Reuben Beard to Converse
with him Reported that Brother Garrison had been drinking
too much Ardent Spirits for about three weeks and come in hum
ble submission of the Church for forgivness. the Church forgave
him, so Dismissd in order

Act because we could not find his liberation on the record,
the Church say that Brother Wright should take a seat

Received   2nd the Case of Elizabeth Caskey brought before
the Church, and excluded for disorderly Conduct.

 3rd Brother Paschal Wrights Case reconsidered by the Church, by finding his liberation in the Church Book since they took it up in January Term
and after considered by the Church they Decided that they do not consider his gift
to be profitable and said take his seat as a lame (sic) member,  Case 4th A Request
