Conferance (sic) gave an in votation (sic) for the recept
of members none came forward refrance (sic) cald (sic)
for the case of Brother Hooker laid over to

invatation (sic) for the recept of members none
came forward. Refrence (sic) Cald (sic) for the Case of Brother
Cald (sic) and laid over until next meeting the report
of Brother Anderson Paschal joyning (sic) the
free masons named by Brother Dedman the Church
appointed J. Dedman and D. Fry a comitey (sic) to see
Brother Paschal and report to the next conferance (sic).

February Term 1858   The church met as

gave an in votation (sic) for the recept of members none
came forward. Refrance (sic) cted (sic) for the Case of Brother
John Hooker taken up in copy of a leter (sic) from
Brother Hooker to Brother Walker, red (sic) and A
copy of a leter (sic) that Walker sent to Hooker
in ancer (sic) was also red (sic) be fore (sic) Brethren and sisters
by the Clerk the Brethren and sisters thawght the
case in a worse condition than ever it had binn (sic)
before a motion made by Brother L. Washburn and
second by Brother Hull to throw the case out
of the church. the vote taken the Brethren
and sisters say throw it owt (sic) the case of Brother
A. Paschel Cald (sic) the comitey (sic) reported and discharge
Brother Paschel being present frankly eacknowledg (sic)
he had joyned (sic) the masons, but says he had no
eacknowledgement (sic) to mak (sic) that it was a good charitable
maverioulent (sic) institution . A Motion by Brother Washburn
and second by Brother Dedman with the adition (sic)
of sending to Round Lick, Enon and Hickmans
Creek for helps at our next conferance (sic) the Brethren
and sisters say lay it over fore (sic) the consideration
of Brother Paschal and the Brethren and sisters
thar (sic) being no other business on hand, the
Church then dismist by Brother Lancaster.

This is to all hoom (sic) it may concern that on date
above writen (sic) we whose names are under signde (sic)
being cald (sic) on by the Baptist Church of Christ
at Brush Creek to examin (sic) into the Call and
qualification of Brother John Washburn to
the Ministry of the gospel, did in the presence
of said church proced (sic) first to his conversion
and call of god to said office as was Aron (sic)
to the priestly office and in this he gave full
satisfaction. Second that he believd (sic) the faith
of the predsstivarion (sic) Baptist as containd (sic) in the
articles of faith as held by the Round Lick
Association and acknoledged (sic) the order there
of and that a deviation from the faith or order
here proposed shall render this  article null
and voyd (sic) and that the Church be no longer
acountabell (sic) for his doctrin (sic) or practis (sic) wher (sic) upon
we aid most sollemley (sic) after fasting and prayer
and imposition of hands set apart John Washburn
to the Ministry of god’s word and ordenence (sic).

Brother William Pigg aor calling for a leter (sic) of
dismission for the purpose of joyning (sic) at Hickam
Creek for convenyance (sic) and then holding his leter (sic)
for 5 or 6 years and not joyning (sic) eny (sic) church
and alsoe (sic) for slanders reports that is forthwith
against him the church appoint Brother
John Hall and Brother John Dedman A comity (sic)
to see Brother Pigg and site (sic) him to the Church
proposed (sic) by Brother John Dedman that the church
notice the Case of Brother Daniel Smith for
lying of from the Church and alsoe (sic) for not
at long to his office as a deacone (sic) of the Church.
The Church say they had sent (sic) for Brother
Smith twist (sic) and they thought that was enough
but they agreed to let the case by until some of the
Brethren had an oportunity (sic) to see Brother Smith
and let him know the Church had taken up
his case and alsoe (sic) the Case of Sister Mary Springs
taken up and excluded for  mooving (sic) off from
the Church with out a ragular (sic) dismission
from the church.

the Carges (sic) and says thar (sic) uterly (sic) false the Comity (sic)
discharged  2. the Case of Brother Daniel Smith
Cald (sic) and a comity (sic) of two Brethren J. Hall
and L. Washburn appointed to see Brother Smith
and site (sic) him to the Church  3 the Case of
Sister Elizabeth Wright taken up the Comity (sic)
cald (sic) on to report the comity (sic) reported and was
discarged (sic) and Sister Wright aquited (sic).  Thar (sic) bee
