Pension Record of EDMOND/EDMON BOLLING (born ca 1760) -- Virginia - No. #S. 39,206
Edmond Boling enlisted in Staffard County, Virginia ca February 4, 1776 served as a private in Captains' Wm. Washington's, John ?, and Wallace's Companies. Colonels George Weedom (?) and Thomas Marshall's Third Virginia Regiment. Was at battles of Pis___(?), Brandywine, and Germantown, served 2 years.
He was allowed pension on his application executed January 29, 1829, at which time he was 69 years and resided in Greene County, Tennessee. At that time, he stated he had a wife and 5 small children, oldest being 11 years. He had lived in Greene County about 30 years.
In 1829, Edmond had a brother Joshua Boling, age 58 years living in Greene County (born ca 1771).
Edmond was discharged at Valley Forge.
Ann Coleham age 73 years of Greene County, Tennessee said she knew Edmond and knew he had served 2 years in the Revolutionary War.
