DIRECTIONS
From Stratton, VA take Route 652 up Crooked Branch Hollow about 1.3 mile to Liza Gap, take the left leading upwards towards Sutherland Ridge. This road has been improved since the USGS map for NORA was last updated. Follow this road which winds over a mile past the Pressley Cemetery and past several houses and trailers on top of Sutherland Ridge. After a large open area, you will come to the end of the state maintenance of this road and a ranch house on the left. Continue past all the way to the end to where the 2nd power lines are.

FIELD NOTES: 11/21/98
The Sutherland cemetery is laid out on a prominatory that is now shared with power lines. The cemetery is fairly well cared for and was recently mowed. The people at the ranch house said they were not related, but several mailboxes along the ridge had Sutherland/Kiser/Edwards names on them. Started in the NE corner.
