Mary "Polly" (Phipps) Swindall (1836-1907) & John Wesley Swindall (1826-1900)

John Wesley was the son of Elizabeth "Betsy" Swindall. Polly was the daughter of Joseph Phipps and Patsy (White) Phipps. They made their home in the Osborne's Gap section of Dickenson County, Virginia.

John Calvin "J.C." Swindall (1853-1939) & Martha Jane (Vanover) Swindall (1855-1930)

J. C. was a noted preacher and an elder of the Old Regular Baptist Church. He established the Little Zion Church of Old Regular Baptists in 1886 in the Norland section of Dickenson County, Virginia. He also served as moderator of the Union Association of Old Regular Baptists for over 40 years. He was the son of John Wesley & Polly (Phipps) Swindall. Jane was the daughter of Eli and Ollie (Mullins) Vanover. J.C. and Jane made their home in the Osborne's Gap section of Dickenson County, Virginia.
