HOLY TRINITY CHURCH
Boston, Massachusetts

1895 PARISH DIRECTORY

A few years ago, I was sent a copy of the 1895 Parish Directory for Holy Trinity Church. I wanted to share this information with other folks who are researching their roots in the German Catholic community in the Boston area at the turn of the century. I entered the almost 1100 names and addresses into a data base, and created seven surname pages.

The information on the linked pages is searchable "the old-fashioned way" - by LOOKING! The first field is the YEAR of the Directory (I'm also working on a copy of the 1905 Directory); the second field is the SURNAME; the third field is the GIVEN NAME, the fourth field is the STREET ADDRESS (with the street name entered first, and the house number entered second), the fifth field is the "TOWN" (if that field is emply, it's more than likely "Boston")

If a surname contained an UMLAUT, I entered a "*" after the appropriate vowel.
