Anthony Allaire, b. 22 Feb 1755 New Rochelle, NY; d. 9 Jun 1838 ae 84 yrs near Fredericton, York Co, NB, bur. Old Burial Ground, Fredericton, NB; m. 27 Jul 1794, Mary Simmonds, b. 1773; d. 9 Jun 1827 ae 55 yrs the same place as husband, at Pine Grove, Douglas Parish, York Co, NB, bur. Old Burial Ground, Fredericton, NB; She was the eldest d/o James Simmonds.
Served as Lt. in the Loyal American Regt during the Rec. War. Was from New Rochelle, NY, and had Parrtown lot in 1784, but settled near Fredericton. Anthony Allaire was of Huguenot ancestry, he retired on half pay. Served in the Kings NB Regt. ca. 1800.1. Eliza Maria was their only dau. She m. 31 Dec 1819, at Pine Grove, Fredericton, NB to Lt. John Robinson, the 7th s/o Lt-Col Beverly Robinson, of Nashwaaksis. (Family: Edward Simonds, s/o John & Eliza Robinson d. 27 Mar 1831 in his 2nd yr.)
