Jacob Carvell b. 1749, NJ; d. 1821, Northampton, Carleton Co, NB s/o Lewis Carvell. Jacob was m. three times; m.1) ca. 1769, Nancy Starke, of NJ; d. pre 1784, poss. at Fredericton. He m.2) A Mrs. John Howard, ca. 1784; and m.3) Lavinia Slason, ca. 1790 (74-1851) b. 1745; chr. 1765; d/o Isaac Slason & Bethia Bishop. She rec'd a pension under the Old Soldiers of the Rev. War Act, 1839, York Co.
