{Note: There is a transcript of a diary of Mary Anne Jones, Dumfries, York Co, NB Donated to the Provincial Archives of New Brunswick by Sue Wiesner / typescript. Heading says - My mother's diary started before her marriage. Mary Anne Jones, Dumfries, NB First date - 30 Oct 1860, last date 3 May 1861
This is a close typed item on legal size sheets, 11 pages in all. It gives a brief account of everyday life in that era, plus a description of her journey to Saint John, by coach, for her brother's (Simeon) wedding. (Could this be a desc. of the Simeon listed above?)
