Nase, Henry

    Henry Nase, Col., b. 28 Jun 1752, Dutchess Co, NY; s/o Philip Nase & [---] Dutcher (d/o John Dutcher, native of Holland.); d. 20 May 1836; and bur. in the private Nase Cemetery, Westfield. He m. 13 Mar 1788, Jane Quinton; b. 27 Jan 1767; d. 29 May 1852, aged 85 yrs, and buried in the same cemetery as her husband.
    Col. Nase served as an officer in British Army with General Coffin before he reached full rank in Rev. War, and came to NB pre the Loyalsit, settling at mouth of Nerepis River, Par. of Westfield. He was a Judge of Probate for Kings County and served as Lay Reader when there was no clergyman. There were 4 sons and 6 daughters (Many grandchildren chr. in the Westfield Church records.)

before those of Philip and Margaret.)

3. Maria L. m. 5/25 Nov 1813, Kings Co, NB, Silvanus Haviland; who was bur. 2 Aug 1839, Nerepis, Kings Co., NB, ae 54 yrs. (A Mrs. Haviland bur. 12 Dec 1853, Westfield, ae 63 yrs)

4. Elizabeth; m. 18 Jan 1816, Kings Co, NB, Isaac Haviland, of Greenwich Parish, Kings Co, NB.

5. William Henry; m. 21 Oct 1817, Kings Co, NB, Charlotte Harding. She was bur. 12 May 1870, Westfield, Kings Co., NB, ae 75 yrs

6. Anna; m. 6 Oct 1819, Kings Co, NB, Abel Guilford Harding; chr. 30 Aug 1843; b. 11 Apr 1798, at Westfield, Kings Co, NB (adult) (along with several of their children)

7. John Quinton, b. 1785; d. 1841; was bur. 6 Jan 1841, at Nerepis, Kings Co., NB, ae 45 yrs; m. 30 Oct 1822, Kings Co, NB, Rowena Haviland, b. 1796; d. 1867; bur. 2 Feb 1867, Westfield, Kings Co., NB, ae 69 yrs.
