OBIT Raymond: "Benajah Northrup of Connecticut died at Kingston in 1838 aged eighty eight, leaving fourteen children, one hundred and eighteen grandchildren and one hundred and eleven gread grandchildren."
(NOTE: several died before him.)

Dubeau says: Of New Milford, CT, he came to NB with the spring fleet in 1783, going first to Maugerville in 1783, and by 1784 was in Kingston, Kings Co, NB. He served with the Guides and Pioneers during the war. Bell says he came with the spring fleet / aboard the HOPE / 1 man 1woman, 3 children under 10 at NY, and until May 1784.
