Ancestors of John Hall, England to MA

1) John Hall, born ca 1611 in England; immigrated to New England in 1630, settling first at Charlestown, Massachusetts; married to Bethia and removed to Barnstable, MA ca 1640 - 1642 and then to Dennis, MA (then called Yarmouth) ca 1651, where he died 23 July 1696.  Some have stated that he married secondly to Elizabeth Learned, but no proof of John being married to anyone other than Bethia has been found.  

2) William Hall, son of John Hall, was born 1651 at Barnstable, MA; purchased land at Mansfield, CT 1695 and settled there; married Esther/Hester ca 1670's.  William died at Mansfield, CT on 11 June 1727 and his wife on 19 Feb 1727.  

3)  Theophilus Hall, son of William Hall, was born perhaps ca 1680's or 1690's likely in Dennis, Massachusetts; married Ruth Sargent and resided at Mansfield, CT, where he died 29 Aug 1747 and his wife in 1759 or 1760.

4)  Isaac Hall, son of Theophilus Hall, was born 30 Dec 1730 at Mansfield, CT; married to Abigail Swift and resided at Mansfield, CT, where he died 6 Aug 1757 (age 26 years) and his wife 2 Oct 1803.  

5)  Isaac Hall, Jr., son of Isaac Hall, was born 30 Jan 1755 at Mansfield, CT; married Anna Palmer and moved from Mansfield, CT to Lebanon, New Hampshire & soon after to Hanover, New Hampshire ca 1788 to 1790, and then in 1813 to Newbury, Vermont, where he and his wife both died in the 1830's.  

6)  Daniel Hall, son of Isaac Hall, Jr., was born ca 1790 in Lebanon, New Hampshire or Hanover, New Hampshire; married to Lucy (last name not known) and resided at Newbury, Vermont until moving to Edinboro, Erie County, Pennsylvania ca 1826, where he died in June 1867 and his wife in July 1865.  

7) Rufus Hall, son of Daniel Hall, was born 1827 near Edinboro, Erie County, PA; married Catherine Kline and resided near Edinboro, PA until moving to Frankfort, Benzie County, Michigan ca 1874, where he died 9 June 1890 and his wife on 3 May 1903.  

8)  Frank Winton Hall, son of Rufus Hall, was born 2 August 1857 near Edinboro, Erie County, Pennsylvania; married Alma Dodge and resided in Leavitt Township, Oceana County, Michigan, where he died on 3 March 1936.  His wife died 21 June 1923 in Muskegon, MI.  

9)  Chauncey Hall, son of Frank Winton Hall, was born 31 Oct 1885 at Frankfort, Benzie County, Michigan; married Anna Katherine Farber and resided in Leavitt Township, Oceana County, Michigan and later in Newfield Township, Oceana County, Michigan, where he died on 4 Feb 1965.  His wife died at Fremont, Michigan on 27 Aug 1981.
