This Richard John Hall appears in "The Halls of New England" by David B. Hall Pub. 1883, as a descendant of Richard Hall, bn c1676 of MA. DNA results have shown this not to be true. One of two possibilities exist here. Either the author of "The Halls of New England" made an error in his research or the following tree contains an error. Research continues in hopes of finding the source of the error.

Richard John was first found in the 1830 ChatauquaCo, NY census and was traced through the 1880 census which showed his birthplace as MA.
