This section of the Web site is provided to hold reports on Nicholl family members, which may be of interest to a wider audience. Where, for instance, a genealogical report has been commissioned by a professional research organisation by an individual, then the individual may want to share the contents of that report with other researchers. It must be understood, of course, that although such reports will cost the individual a fee for their production, this Web site can in no way reimburse the individual for this cost.
However, we would like to encourage as many people as possible to share their information with us.
Dissemination of the contents of such reports is purely altruistic, and will be done solely in the hope that a wider audience may be able to use part of the contents of the report in some way or other.
A report commissioned by Edward Nicholl of the Ulster
Historical Foundation into John Nicholl, his great-great-grandfather from
Ballymena, County Antrim, is one such example. This report contains a
considerable volume of data on various Nicholl family names in Ulster, but few
can be directly linked to Edward Nicholl's family. Hopefully, some of
the other names will provide a connection for other researchers.
Sandra Tracy commissioned the Ulster Historical Foundation to prepare a report into her ancestors William Leith and Annie Nicholl (her great-grandparents) from Craignageerach / Cullybackey, County Antrim.
