1. Joanes Franciscus1 Van Maldeghem was born 1842.He married Clemence Vincence Jaspaert. Clemence was born in Middelburg, East Flanders, Belgium March 6, 1849. She was the daughter of Bruno Jaspaert and Maria Van Tienen. Clemence died November 3, 1945 in Damme, Belgium, at 96 years of age.

5 iv.Leona Marie Van Maldeghem died September 6, 1958 in Ghent, Lyon, Minnesota, at 81 years of age. Leona married Peter Joanes Duthoy in Moerkerke, West Flanders, Belgium, June 28, 1898. (See Peter Joanes Duthoy for the continuation of this line.)
