He died on 12 Apr 1994 in Forest Park Health Center, Carlisle, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. He was buried on 15 Apr 1994 in Mechanicsburg Cemetery, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. He was an employee, Commonwealth National Bank. He was member, First United Methodist Church in Mechanicsburg, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. He resided 110 W. George Z. Fishel, 72, of Shiremanstown died Tuesday in
Forest Park Health Center, Carlisle.
He was retired from the former Commonwealth National Bank; was a
member of First United Methodist Church, Mechanicsburg, and its Merle
E. Guyer Memorial Sunday School Class; and a former member of the
Mechanicsburg Kiwanis Club.
Surviving are his wife, Kathryn Widder Fishel; two daughters, Pamela
F. Van Kirk and Patricia F. Taylor, both of Mechanicsburg; two
sisters, Geraldine F. Heiges of Towson, Md., and Jeanne E. Drawbaugh
of Norristown; and three grandchildren.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. tomorrow in his church. Burial will
be in Mechanicsburg Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. tomorrow in the church.
Myers Funeral Home, Mechanicsburg, is handling arrangements.

He was married to Kathryn R. Wideder on 14 Jun 1947 in Mechanicsburg, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. Kathryn R. Wideder was born on 30 Mar 1922. She died after 12 Apr 1994. George Z. Fishel Jr. and Kathryn R. Wideder had the following children:
