CARLISLE -- Rose A. Lewis, 98, formerly of Mechanicsburg,
and Hollywood, Calif., died Tuesday in Claremont Nursing and
Rehabilitation Center, Middlesex Twp.
She was the widow of Edward I. Lewis. Surviving is a niece, Virginia
S. Baker of Shiremanstown, and other nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday in Shoop's
Cemetery, Lower Paxton Twp.
There will be no viewing.
Geigle Funeral Home, Susquehanna Twp., is handling arrangements.

She was divorced from ("Hop") Hoover on 10 Feb 1928 in Harrisburg, Dauphin, Pennsylvania. ("Hop") Hoover was born about 1898. his name was probably Harold

She was married to Edward Isaac Lewis (son of William Lewis and Katie Williams) on 4 Sep 1935. Edward Isaac Lewis was born on 20 Dec 1901.
