He was an instructor, French and Spanish, Cazanovia Seminary between 1920 and 1921. He was an associate professor of modern languages, Denison College between 1921 and 1926. He was educated M.A., Denison College in 1922. He was a teacher, Spanish, University of Wisconsin between 1926 and 1928. He was educated Ph. D., University of Wisconsin in 1928. He was a professor and chairman of foreign languages, Washington State University between 1928 and 1949. He died on 24 Jun 1949.
