Pettyjohn (7-57-58), i n 1926, then being of the age of seventy years, wrote the compiler of the Pettijohn genealogy , stating that Molliston was a brother of his (James C.'s) great grandfather John Pettyjohn ( 4-46-47) and that there was another brother, Daniel. The available evidence seems to bear ou t his statement.
