Mr. Philbrook - a tractor trailer truck driver for Washington Mills Abrasive Co., North Grafton, Mass., for 30 years before his retirement - was born in Belfast, Maine, and moved to the area in 1996 from Quinebaug, Conn. He enjoyed fishing and riding motorcycles and bicycles.

Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Barbara A. Philbrook; one son, Berlin R. Philbrook III; three daughters, Leanne Staub, Cheryl Walsh, and Sharon Browning; one brother; four sisters; and t10 grandchildren.

Dudley Edgewater Chapel, Edgewater, was in charge of arrangements.
