John Gordon Philbrook Sr.11
(1924-1997)
The 8th great grandson of Thomas the emigrant.
Served with the US Marine Corps during World War II
and fought on numerous islands in the Pacific.
He was discharged at the end of 1945 but reenlisted 3 times and saw
action in Korea (Chosin). He was honorably discharged in late 1956.
