Served with the Union Army during the Civil War
and died of Typhoid Fever shortly after his discharge.

Josiah Bradbury Philbrick served with the 15th New Hampshire Infantry during the Civil War.
He served with distinction during the Battle of Port Hudson, Louisiana.
