For all men by these presents [sic] that I Caleb Morey of Pembroke in the county of Rockingham and state of New Hampshire trader for and in consideration of one hundred and eighty pounds lawful money to me in hand paid by Jonathan Filbrick and John Deane both of Pearsontown in the county of Cumberland and state of Massachusetts Bay in New England Gentlemen: the receipt whereof I hereby acknowledged, do hereby give, grant, bargain, sell, aliene, convey and confirm unto the said Jonathan Felbrick [sic] and John Deane their heirs and assigns forever, one whole share right or proportion of land in a township lying in the county of Cumberland in the state of the Massachusetts Bay, between Sebaco Pond [#1] and Sawco [#2] River. Which township was granted to Moses Pearson Esqr and others; of which right Daniel Farmer was original grantee: excepting only the thirty acre lot belonging to said right drawn in the first division. Also one hundred acre lot of land in said Pearsontown ! in the second division numbered one hundred and thirteen; bounded north easterly on the lot numbered one hundred and twelve, north westerly on the lot numbered one hundred and eighteen, south westerly on the lot numbered one hundred and fourteen, and south easterly on a road laid out from great Watchick Pond to Sawco River.

To have and to hold the said granted and bargained premises with all the privileges and appurtenances to the same belonging to them the said Jonathan Filbrick and John Deane, and their heirs and assigns, to their own proper use and behoof forever as tenants in common. And I the said Caleb Morey do hereby covenant to and with the said Jonathan and John their heirs and assigns, that until the delivery hereof, I the said Caleb am the lawful owner of the said premises, and am lawfully seized thereof in fee simple, and that I the said Caleb have good right and lawful authority to grant and convey the same in manner as aforesaid, and that the premises aforesaid are free of all encumbrances whatsoever, and that I the said Caleb will and do warrant the same to them the said Jonathan Filbrick and John Deane their heirs and assigns against the lawful claims and demands of all persons whatsoever.

In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and sealed this first day of April Anno Domini one thousand seven hundred and seventy eight.
