With the parenthetical insertions stuck in at the top, I believe the first line reads: "1. Thomas Philbrick & Wife Elizabeth came from [lined out] to Boston Mass about the year 1630 with Gov. [lined out] Sir Richard Saltinstall [sic], Governor of the Colony."

Sir Richard Saltonstall was one of the grantees of the Massachusetts Company and named as the first assistant (not governor) of Gov. Winthrop. He arrived in the "Arbella" 22 June 1630 with his family.

Google on govenor/richard/saltonstall to find more than you really want to know about Sir Richard. I rather doubt that Thomas P. and Sir Richard were pals, but it would be natural to tell your children you came to America on the same ship as Sir Richard.
