Geraldine Philbrook, BOSCAWEN

BOSCAWEN-Geraldine B. Philbrook, 77, died Sunday at the Merrimack County Nursing Home. She was born in Cambridge, Mass., the daughter of Walter and Gertrude (Dillon) Brown. Philbrook moved to Davenport, Fla., in 1987, returning to the Concord area in 1998. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Post No. 6931. Survivors include four sons, Verne Philbrook III of Woburn, Mass., John Philbrook of Klamath Falls, Ore., Thomas Philbrook of Bow and Jeffery Philbrook of Milford; two daughters, Virginia Johnson of Canterbury and Robin Philbrook of Missoula, Mont.; a sister, Beverly Raymond of Portage Lake, Maine; 11 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a nephew; and many cousins. Her husband, Verne Philbrook Jr. died previously. Calling hours will not be held. Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 10 a.m. in Bennett Funeral Home, 209 N. Main St., Concord. Burial will be held at a later date in New Hampshire Veterans Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 10 Ferry St., Suite 419, Concord 03301.
