After my trip to Westmoreland County, it is unlikely that
James A. McGuire is related to the John McGuire family. James
is not the son of either James or Samuel McGuire. If he is the
son of William, he would have had to have moved back to Westmoreland
County from Allegheny County.

McGuire 1813; release claim by William
McGuire, eldest son of John McGuire of Derry Township; updated
1810 census records. Added the
first of the allied ffamilies, the Peter
Miller Family associated with James A. McGuire and a quit
claim on his property
July 6, 1999. Added will of Alexander
Cannon. Alexander was husband of Sarah McGuire daugher of
John McGuire of Derry Township.
July 1, 1999. Added will and miscellaneous information on
Walter Ferguson husband of Jane McGuire daugher of John
McGuire of Derry Township. This includes a shor biograph of
his son Thomas Ferguson.
June 28, 1999. Added genealogy and miscellaneous information
on Samuel McGuire youngest son of John McGuire of Derry Township. Samuel
moved to Wayne/Holmes County, Ohio. This includes a
release of property to his borther James McGuire also signed
by his sister Nancy McGuire Cook and her husband David Cook.
June 23, 1999. Added two deeds
for land purchase and sale of James A. McGuire in New Derry, PA.
