I have closely looked at the original document along with photocopies graciously provided by ADHA. Given the age and wear of the document and the handwriting style changes in the ensuing century, it is possible that this nevertheless contains errors. I welcome any additional information or corrections to this transcription.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Names in brackets are from additional sources and not listed in the actual
Muster Roll. Please contact me about corrections and/or additions.

The bodies of 887 soldiers who had died in Chattanooga following the battle of Murfreesboro from January 1st through May 31, 1863, were moved from a cemetery close to the Tennessee River, where they had been temporarily interred, to the Confederate Cemetery in 1867. The head of each grave was marked by a board with the name of the soldier, his state and his command, and a number. Col. R.L. Watkins copied the names and prepared a list that was later presented to Confederate Memorial Association March 18, 1876. This link is to more information on this Confederate Cemetery; lists of soldiers from Alabama and others states are included. Alabama Marker VIII lists Weily's name. (Back to Muster Roll)
