What's Here? What's Missing? Why Ahnentafels? What Else Do I Do on the Net? What Next? Home
My interests are here. I have links to pages I created and manage on for the League of Women Voters of Champaign County. An outdated family tree as I know it now is here in Ahnentafel text format. For updated genealogy see Worldconnect at Rootsweb.. My "cousins'" pages are linked here when I know about them. I have links to the genealogy pages I like the best and to all I find which contain part of my ancestry. My community and the ISPs and servers I find most useful are here, too.
Top Home The ancestors I have not yet found are missing. Most Scanned photographs from my collection are not here yet, either. Some great stories I know about ancestors aren't here yet. I hope to keep adding to all of the above. Links to sites where others have some of my ancestors are only here if I have found them. I want to find more. If you have some ancestry in common with me let me know at email@example.com
The Ahnentafels were easy to generate and show the ancestries of my four grandparents and of my husband's parents. What's here is OLD, though. However, RootsWeb now has it all at WorldConnect, and that is the real place to find my family because I update the files there..
I was one of more than a dozen people who planned and proposed the change from a single genealogy newsgroup (soc.roots) to the initial seven soc.genealolgy.* groups and have been active in proposals for nearly all the groups which have been added to make up the 25 groups we now have. Maintaining a good organization and expanding in a logical way is important to me. I maintain a website with information about the genealogy newsgroupsSurfing and Searching:
- Don't we all?
Improving my GEDCOMs on WorldConnect is a high priority. Entering obituaries and source data is another high priority. Keeping this page and it's information current is another priority. I want to help create Edmondson Data Resources. Staying off-line often enough to attend conferences and visit my family is another goal. Sorting and cataloging the information I now have and cleaning up my database and correctly citing sources is important. Will I ever have the time? Suggestions?? firstname.lastname@example.org
