The Bible's  owner, Larry Steele of Dallas, Texas.  It is thought that the Bible 
was originally owned by ROBERT BRASWELL 145418 (1773-1825)and passed to his daughter 
ANN(A) BRAZLE CHILTON by estate sale June 9, 1825. Some time thereafter it came into 
the possession of her sister, ISABELLE BRAZLE STEELE, the present owner's ggg-grandmother.
The notation is Latin initials for nota bene; note well.

 married to Isabelle Lester the 31st of Jan. 1797
